Locate your NFC Reader on your Smartphone Device

Most modern smart devices now allow you to read Near Field Communications (NFC) which contains information about TravelMaster products which can be downloaded onto a compatible Smartcard.

Before purchasing a product on a smart device you must check that:

Near Field Communications (NFC) can now be read by the majority of modern smart devices, and it allows data on TravelMaster products to be transferred onto a compatible Smartcard.

Before making a purchase on a smart device, please ensure the following:

  • You can locate your NFC reader/antenna, and your device is NFC-capable.
  • You have the smart card you wish to connect with, and your device’s NFC feature is activated.
  • The screen is unlocked, and your device is actively in use. Failure to do so might result in the device’s inability to read the NFC tag or receive data.
  • When updating your product, keep your smart card in close proximity to the hardware.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their smartphone or tablet has a compatible NFC antenna, as neglecting to do so could potentially prevent you from being eligible for a refund.
